Debbie Howes: Parent Governor
I became a parent governor in 2007, and am a member of the Personnel and Communication committee. I have welcomed the opportunity to contribute to how the school is run and to decisions that are made within the school, in order to help the school continue to provide a high quality and enriching education for all our children.
My background is in managing bulk processes within an educational environment.
I have experience of recruiting and training staff, of managing people, of chairing committees, of delivering projects, and of managing budgets.
I currently have responsibility for governor training, and I have also been involved in the selection and interviewing of new teachers at Milton, which has been a very rewarding experience.
